Finally, clean any remaining debris out of the burner holes with a toothpick, sewing needle or compressed air.

How do you fix a gas burner that won’t click?

  1. Make sure the correct burner is selected.
  2. Verify that the burner knob was first turned to the Lite position.
  3. Make sure the burner cap is on the correct burner.
  4. Check to see if there is power to the range or cooktop at the plug or home’s circuit breaker or fuse box.

Why is my gas oven clicking but not lighting?

Why does my gas burner not spark or ignite?
