Why does my Dometic cf-80 not get cold?

To eliminate cord and connector issues I hard wired unit to 12 volts. It starts up but after a few minutes it goes to error. Error flashes three times. Any help to resolve issue? I have a Dometic CF-80 A.C or DC. It will ģet a little cool but will not get cold. It does the same on A.C. or DC and even the same when the over ride is on.
