Why are my turn signals not working but my hazards are?

Why are my turn signals not working but my hazards are?

You may have an issue with something like a blown fuse for the turn signals, a missing or defective turn signal flasher (which is NOT the one in the fuse block), a break in a wire and/or connection, and possibly an issue with the turn signal switch in the column.

Why do my turn signals stop flashing when I apply the brake?

Make sure you have the right bulbs in and check the wiring harness on your lights and take a look inside the light assembly for any short circuit. Also any addition like the third brake light and, like mayer said, a trailer light plug that is shortened can do it too. Good Luck to you Was this answer helpful?

Do you need a flasher for a turn signal?

Some vehicles have separate flasher relays for turn signals and hazard lights. Be sure to check both systems while you’re thinking about signal relays. Hazard lights can be very important.

What to do when your brake lights are not working?

In the situation when brake lights are not working properly, you need to make sure that the power is going through and check the fuse. If the brakes lights are turned on at the same time as turn signal lights, you need to bring it to the mechanics for a check.

Why do my blinkers stop blinking when I apply the brake?

All of these problems mentioned can be the result of a bad ground. When you operate both blinkers and brake lights and the blinkers stop blinking, it’s because the circuit is not good enough to operate both lights. Bad ground. Same with headlights and blinkers. Probably the same with fog lights.

When do you need to replace your turn signal Flasher?

If your car’s high or low beams, left/right indicators, or other lights are not working, you may have to replace the hazard/turn signal flasher. 1. Turn signals or hazards do not function 2. Turn signals or hazards stay on 3. Additional lights are not working

Why are the lights on my Turn signal not working?

While they may still light up, the lights will not be able to serve their intended purpose of signaling a turn or emergency situation. These same symptoms can also be caused by electrical issues, so having the vehicle properly diagnosed is highly recommended. 3. Additional lights are not working
