How do you change the lock on an RV storage compartment?
The cam is the metal tab that turns and secures the compartment when closed. On our RV, it required a standard flat blade screwdriver. After removing the cam, remove the large lock retention nut with a pair of pliers or other adjustable wrench. Remove the old lock and reverse the procedure to install the replacement locks.
How big are the locks on a storage compartment?

It is amazing how much storage space is in this rv. We would definitely keep this motorhome if we could, but need the money for some personal issues. Also, if you drive this carefully and not too fast, it gets really good gas mileage for a motorhome and the engine purrs so nicely.

On our last trip, Dec 2018 with my 2006 National SeaBreeze LX 32′, the hydraulic leveling jacks deployed correctly, but upon leaving they retracted normally, but slow, and then the control panel displayed at least one of them was still down and would sound an alarm when I removed the parking brake.
