Where is the condenser coil on a country coach?

Look forward to hearing from others with the same coach. CC stand for Country Coach- it has a Cat C9400 HP and the condenser coil is located in front under the passenger area. There is an electric fan to blow air across coil that cycles regularly (like every minute) and runs for 15 seconds.

How old is dash air conditioner in motorhomes?

Thanks for any ideas. Have them add a leak detector dye when they next work on it. Our dash HVAC works just fine and is 19 years old. You will have to determine the fix the dash A/C ($$$) vs use generator and overhead air ($$$) based on your needs.

Normally the fan is controlled via a relay that is attached to the power for the AC compressor clutch control. so if the AC compressor comes on then the fan also starts. So then the question is if the AC compressor is short cycling and causing the fan to cycle.

The most common problem when the compressor runs and the fan does not start is a blown fuse and that is caused by a failed fan motor mounted on the condenser coil mounted out side the coach. Underneath the front or in the rear in the area of the radiator.
