When to Install icon Penguin Dometic duo Air Conditioner shroud?

I think this shroud is thinner than the original but it fit my Penguin 600 perfectly. The original foam seals were applied to the shroud. This replacement has you attempting to stick the foam onto the dirty surfaces of the air conditioner. This doesn’t work as well but is probably adequate until you take the shroud off.

Where are DIP switches on Penguin air conditioner?

There’s a circuit board in the unit on the roof, where the dip switches are, which I suppose takes the place of the one the Duotherm had in the air intake area. The Duotherm had a 4 wire molex. The Penguin IIs came with a 6 wire molex attached to the unit and mating molex connectors with wires attached, in small plastic bags.

Is the icon Penguin air conditioner cover too small?

It’s almost an inch too small in both directions I called the ICON Direct to confirm the measurements and was assured it would fit before ordering. Great replacement cover. Worked well to replace our aged, cracked cover. Holes did not quite line up but that’s just something you have to accommodate with tons of Dometic AC versions over the years.
