What should I use to fix my slide out floor?

The epoxy resin will help make the wood water resistant should any future leak develop and wet the flooring. Besides applying the epoxy resin, I also wrapped the plywood in plastic tarp material. Why does water leak out of my slide out?

Cracks and crevices around the slide-outs compartment tray usually allow water to leak from the outside. If any of your slides have windows in them, the window seals could allow water to leak into your RV.

What can I use to fix a water damaged subfloor?

Heal your floor – In the case of minor subfloor damage, you can simply use a flooring putty to repair the damage. The putty will serve to re-level your floor and strengthen the affected area. I recommend Donald Durham’s Rockhard Water Putty. My floor had major damage, but if yours is minor you can just use a putty like this to fix it.

How big is a piece of plywood for a slide out floor?

Even though I stay on top of my routine sealant maintenance, I believe the damage came as a result of a manufacturer flaw.
