Waeco Fridge – Not Cold Enough! My original 2008 era Waeco galley fridge needed a new thermostat last fall as the dial to adjust temp would just spin endlessly. Swapped it out with the same part and it works but it doesn’t get cold enough. The cockpit fridge (also original Waeco) doesn’t get cold enough either. Both have strong door seals.

What should freezer temp be on Waeco 12V fridge?
If you know how can you bridge out the t’stat for say an hour (do not leave it like that any longer) and see how the temps are then. The fridge temp is 14-16 and the freezer temp is -20.. It’s set to 4/7 Cheers…
