Is the Winnebago Sightseer a reliable motor home?

This Sightseer is our 3rd motorhome. It has been very reliable. Winnebago has a long reputation of long lasting motor-homes. The heavy duty chassis with the 22.5″ tires rides very nice. Towing a jeep or trailer behind is no problem. The horsepower is the highest of any motorhome we have had.

What was the recall on the Winnebago Sightseer?

Recall on steps 6-8 months later due to possible popping out during driving. This trip, 7-2016, engine dies coming down mountains out of St george utah to mesquite. No power steering no brakes, put my family’s lives in jeopardy. Hour and a half on the side of the freeway with no cell service. My son holding a hand written sign to call cops or tow.

What kind of paint scheme does Winnebago Sightseer use?

Paint schemes and designs are simple and commanding. The rear is clean with a large automotive bumper and tail light casement. Marker lights (besides being functional) suggest a fondness for travel. Only the midship entry door signals that this unit is not more expensive.

What kind of RV is the Winnebago 30B?

For nine days and 1,000 miles we took in the sights and more – with the 2004 30B Sightseer. Winnebago says that the Sightseer is its most affordable Class A motorhome – but – it’s not supposed to look or perform like an entry-level unit, hence the heavy use of “more” in its marketing material.
