How does the Vacu flush work on a pace Arrow?

Our 2008 Pace Arrow has a switch in the 1/2 bath to turn the Vacu-Flush off. When we were having problems with ours we would turn it on for a minute or so to build up vacuum to flush toilet then shut system off. This worked fine until we could get to a repair facility. We have a 2017 pace arrow 36 U .

Why does my Fleetwood pace Arrow run continuously?

Backstory: I’ve got a vacuflush system on my 2017 Fleetwood Pace Arrow 36U. The pump began to run continuously. Not too uncommon, and it’s always been a small piece or tissue or something caught in the gasket seal right at the location that opens when you hit the foot pedal (not sure what that is called).

What to do if your vacuflush pump is not running?

a.There is a blockage in the system. b.Pump will not run. c.Duckbill valves in vacuum pump are inverted due to blocked discharge line or an attempt to pump out against closed seacock. a.Open flush ball and check the 1-inch (25mm) orifice at the bottom of the base for blockage and dislodge it.

What kind of vacuum does a pace motorhome use?

We own a 2007 Pace Arrow 36D. This motorhome has a half bath mid-coach and a full bath across the back. Both commodes use a vacuum flush system – sounds just like the commode in a commercial airliner. Whooooosh! The last time out, there was a continuous noise that I assume is the pump that creates the vacuum pressure.

What’s the latest version of the pace Arrow?

New options for 2021 include a power passenger seat with power footrest and a central vacuum system. More stuff? More people? Pace Arrow means you don’t have to compromise.

How big are the hoses on a vacuflush system?

The hoses on the vacuflush are as small as 1″ near the pump….. a recipe for clogs if I’ve every seen one. I can’t keep it bypassed like I have it now because of the small hose, and how it has to go down, then back up….. the pump is what pushes the contents back up a foot or so to get into the top of the tank.
