How do I replace the floor in my RV with slide out?

Do slide out RVs leak?

RV Slide out can leak due to worn out, cracked slide seals which need to be replaced to stop the water leaking in. Ideally, the seals should be replaced every 2 year. Slide out can also leak water when the RV isn’t leveled, this can be rectified by making sure it is properly leveled.

Is it easy to replace flooring in a slide out RV?

What did I remove from my slide out RV?

When I originally installed the flooring in the slide I had removed the plastic flap from the edge. as well as the lip from the last section of flooring as you can see in the photos below:

Why did my Carpet slide out of my RV?

This long piece of plastic was there to act as a bridge for the carpet to rest on, meaning it moved up and down with any footsteps that came in contact with it. Considering our floating floors do not bend like the carpet does we needed to remove this piece.

Where does rotted slide out floor come from?

So..we found our dinningroom/livingroom slide floor is totally rotted. Found it coming from bottom corners..not seal up top..not windows..sent them pictures..they found one seal up top and said..its worn.
