Can a gas refrigerator be run in auto mode?

Patrick H., (Hockessin, DE) Patrick, you say you can run the refrigerator on “Gas Mode,” but when you switch it to “Auto Mode” does any indicator lamp illuminate on the control panel? When on “Auto” and the coach is energized with 120-volts AC, both the “Auto” and “AC” lamps should light up.

What kind of power does a gas refrigerator use?

When the power mode switch is on the “Auto” selection, the refrigerator with run on 120-volt power when it’s available. It will automatically switch to LP if the power goes out, so if you have it on auto, it will not run on LP. Putting the switch to “Gas” makes it run on LP.

What should I do if my fridge wont turn on?

If you have a newer model fridge, you can do this all by pushing the power button. If not, you’ll have to reset the fridge manually. Once your fridge is up and running again, you should see the pilot light go on. This time, it should stay on.

What’s the electric mode on a Dometic refrigerator?

Any advice/suggestions you can provide will be most appreciated. The electric mode is 120V & when you’re hooked up for travel you have 12v. Make sure you have propane and if so, turn it back on. If not, go buy some & see if it works then.

Why is my Refrigerator not working on gas?

The refrigerator works on electric, but does not get as cold as it should. At the camp site, it works fine on gas. But, when we travel to and from the camp site, we put refrigerator on gas, but the refrigerator is not staying cold. On a 7 hrs travel, the freezer stuff starts thawing and the refrigerator items become warm. Any ideas? Thank you.
