Since the last revision of the National Electrical Code allows RV campgrounds to use two legs of 3-phase power for 50-amp/240-volt pedestal outlets on standard 50-amp NEMA 14-50 outlets, there’s one additional voltage reading possibility that’s perfectly safe and acceptable.

How do you remove an RV light switch cover?

Just kill the power and use some needle nose pliers to pull off the connectors. Squeeze the tabs in on the end of the switch and it will pop right out. Squeeze the new one in and plug the connectors back on the tabs, replace and you are ready to go.

One should note that this self contained outlet and box was designed to have the wiring installed with a pricey special tool. That is not to be said one can not install the wiring with a pliers or needle nose, however one should note it is not a typical wired outlet method.
